Go Non-Toxic for EPA

30 11 2011

Hello all,

I have recently started a new venture as a consultant for Ava Anderson Non-Toxic, we provide an entire line of SAFE skin care, hair care, body care, sun protection and cosmetics without toxic ingredients.

As a consultant I am dedicated to providing information on the dangers of toxins in our everyday personal care products, and sharing resources and tools on ways we can protect ourselves and our families.

I would love to share this important health message with you, help you and your family save on switching to non-toxic products, and raise money for EPA too!

I want to give you the opportunity to Host an AVA party where you will

  • Share this message with family & friends.
  • Recieve up to $200+ in FREE products of your choice depending on the sales from your party.
  • Receive an additional 30-50% off products you would like to purchase.
  • I will donate 10% of the sales to EPA.
The 1st 10 people to sign-up to Host will also receive a FREE lip balm!!!

Did you know…The products you use everyday could (and likely are) loaded with toxic chemicals?  There is very little oversight of the personal care products industry in tis country.  Even products labeled “Natural” and “Organic” might contain chemicals known to cause hormonal, endocrine and thyroid disruption and other diseases including Cancer.

Did you know…Europe Bans 1,342 toxic chemicals from their products, and the US only bans 9!!!

Did you know…The ingredient “Fragrance” on a product label can hide more than1,300 ingredients.  Phthalates, which are known carcinogens, have been found in 72% of products, yet do not have to be specifically identified on the label- they are hidden in the word “Fragrance”.

What you can do…Be AWARE & EDUCATE yourself!!!

Avoid these products:

  • Fragrance
  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
  • anything starting with PEG
  • anything ending with ETH
  • Paraben

check out www.cosmeticsdatabase.com to check the products you use and learn more about the issue.

Why choose AVA…

    • Organic ingredients
    • Made in America
    • Gluten-Free
    • Not tested on Animals
    • Mostly vegan (our cosmetics do have beeswax & silk)
    • Environmentally friendly ingredients and packaging
    • Competitively Priced

Come visit me at the Winter Festival this saturday at my AVA booth where you can sample products, win Raffle prizes, and learn!

Book your party today!!!  You can contact me @ 512-879-7632, or visit my website www.avaandersonnnontoxic.com/amiefielden

Coats for Kids

26 11 2011

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break.

Remember this weekend to take a quick look through the closets – perhaps you have a coat you can donate, keeping a child (up to age 18) warm through the winter months.  Wed. Nov. 3oth is the last day for coat donations!

There is also the opportunity to give $15, which will buy a child a brand new coat!

Coats for Kids and Plum District offer an easy online donation option! Just visit www.plumdistrict.com/coatsforkids between 11/14 – 11/30 and choose Eden Park Academy at checkout. Each $15 donation donates a new coat and EPA receives credit in the Coats for Kids Coat Drive Competition!

Not only are you helping an Austin child in need, you are also benefiting EPA! Plum District will also donate $500 to the PTO/PTA of the school with the most online donations! As an added bonus, if you donate online with Plum District, they will gift you $5 Plum Dollars to spend on their site.

Please check the Lost and Found (in the old cafeteria) when you return to school next Monday. There were quite a few coats in there without names; on Tuesday afternoon, those coats will be donated.

Thank you to all of you who have already donated – your generosity is deeply appreciated. I hope your heart is warmed knowing that a child will stay happier this winter too!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving…let your thanks grow into giving.

Who’s Van Gogh’n to Art Night!?!

17 10 2011

Family Art Night is just a few days away!!!  I think this is one of our best events of the year.  Seeing all the kids and their families creating and having fun together is fantastic.  And for all you multi-taskers this event is perfect.  Let your kids have a blast creating a beautiful piece of art and then turn it into a Holiday gifts for the family!

We will be channeling the artistic inspiration of Vincent Van Gogh.  Here is a link to a short bio on Van Gogh and a video tribute to his work.  This would be great to go over with your child before Thursday to give them extra inspiration and get their imagination cranking.

If you would like to preview the products that will be available to buy or learn more about Original Works click here : http://www.originalworks.com/fundraising-items/

I can’t wait to see all of you and your lil’ Van Gogh’s Thursday night at 5:45pm.  Remember to turn your pizza order forms in by Wednesday.  You have until Friday October, 28th to turn your paintings, order forms and money into your teacher.  Remember, if your child has an art piece from home or school that you would rather use instead of what they make at Art night that can be turned in as well, it just has to be 8″x10.5″ or 8″x11″.

As you all know we are working hard this year to try to raise funds to give our kids a new playground.  This is a great opportunity to help in that because we receive 33% back from the sales, and I hope you are all saving up your appetite for Phil’s and Amy’s tomorrow!!!

If you aren’t able to make a purchase at this time, no worries, please come out and enjoy a wonderful evening, and same goes for Phil’s and Amy’s.  If you aren’t able to help by purchasing the food we could still really use your help as  a volunteer, click here to sign-up, lots of spots are still open.
